Terms of Service
Last updated 3 October 2026
These terms cover your use of the Wheelwatch app and wheelwatch.app, provided by StirnerMedia LLC (30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States). By creating an account or watching a ride you agree to them.
What Wheelwatch is
Wheelwatch lets cyclists share a ride live with friends and look back at it afterwards. Power figures are estimates from speed, gradient, weight and weather, not measurements.
Not a safety service
Live tracking is best-effort. Positions can be late, missing or wrong because of GPS, battery, phone settings or mobile coverage. Do not rely on Wheelwatch to know that someone is safe or to call for help. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.
Your account
- You must be at least 12 years old to create an account.
- You sign in with Apple or Google.
- Keep your phone and sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Account.
Riding and sharing
- Ride lawfully and pay attention to the road, not the app.
- You choose who can watch each ride: anyone with the link, your followers, or only you. Anyone you share a link with can pass it on.
- You keep ownership of your rides, routes and comments. You let us store, process and show them as needed to run Wheelwatch for you and the people you share with.
Behaviour
Do not post comments that harass, threaten or abuse others, share other people's private information, or upload routes or files you have no right to share. Riders can hide comments and block people; we may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.
Changes and availability
Wheelwatch is provided as it is and may change, pause or stop. We will tell you in the app before changes to these terms that affect you. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by tracking being late, missing or wrong.
